2 years of sauna

At the end of May we lit the fire and opened the sauna door for our birthday open day - what a joy it was!

The celebrations began quietly with Yoga with Susanna followed by a plant filled sauna ritual with Lauren.

Gathered beneath the trees, a mix of familiar and new faces came together while the campsite was still quiet. Susanna guided a grounded practice with moment to stretch tall beneath the old oak.

As the day unfolded, we welcomed more folk into our space to chat, ask questions, play with whisks and enjoy delicious food - it felt like a real celebration of everything the sauna has created: connection, community and slowing down together.

One of the highlights of the day was our family sauna session.

Through a little ‘sauna magic', our younger guests were introduced to the principles of sauna and invited to become sauna wizards for the afternoon. There were stories, spells, laughter - and at one point, mint rain showered down from above.

It was a pleasure to welcome families into the sauna and it’s something we’re looking to offer through the summer months - sign up to our mailing list for more info!

Thank you to everyone who helped bring the day to life - Comrie Croft, Wild Hearth Bakery, Lara at Dalchonzie Cake Stand and Seth behind the camera/music man.

When we first started, we simple hoped to create a space people would love - somewhere to warm up, slow down and connect.

Since then:

We’re both so proud of what we’ve managed to achieve so far and are looking forward to bringing more plans to life in the future - here’s to another year!

Why not come along and try our sauna for yourself?

Our summer sessions are now live: Book Now
